HOWS
El inicio de la práctica artística de HOWS proviene de un entorno urbano cargado de estímulos en constante cambio y movimiento. Su acercamiento creativo y exploratorio al color y las formas se da a través del graffiti, para posteriormente trasladarse a otros medios y formatos plásticos, incluidos los digitales.
La cotidianidad de la vivencia urbana se ve manifiesta a través de la pintura, que mediante su materialidad y posibilidades técnicas, se convierte en una herramienta para modelar estructuras espaciales dentro de la obra. La cadencia del trabajo deviene de una depurada descripción e interpretación del mundo externo que envuelve al artista, donde cada pieza se presenta como un fragmento de atmósfera sensorial, sujeto a la mutación intrínseca de la incierta realidad.
La abstracción desdibuja los límites reales entre formas y figuras, abriendo las puertas a que las texturas, degradaciones y tonos se nos muestren pesados, transiten el espacio a distintas velocidades, o sean levantados por el viento mientras los seguimos con la mirada; construyendo entre sí mismos el soporte necesario para sostener una relación armónica, sin que ésta se limite a hablar a pastor de términos compositivos.
La obra de HOWS implica dinamismo, se traslada, y en ese camino se convierte en otra, explorando la realidad física del cambio y la transformación.
